Tom joined Make UK as an Employee Relations Executive in 1991 and has been a member of the HR & Legal team since 1993.  Tom is an employment law and employee relations specialist, managing complex Employment Tribunal cases, advising on contentious employment relations issues and successfully defending a number of claims for Statutory Trade Union Recognition. He is one of our staff representatives and was a Member Nominated Director of the Pension Fund Trustee Company from 2004-2017.

Stephen qualified as a Solicitor in 2013 and has specialised purely in Employment Law.  Before joining Make UK, Stephen practised in an insurance funded law firm before spending two years in private practice. He specialises in all facets of Employment Law, including unfair dismissal, employment contracts, discrimination, TUPE, and whistleblowing.

Leah has specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 2009. Leah undertakes both non-contentious and contentious work, supporting and advising SME and PLC organisations with internal processes (such as disciplinaries and redundancies) as well as representation at employment tribunal hearings. Leah also delivers training on employment law.

Anisha joined Make UK in May 2011 and holds a Masters in Law and Employment Relations from Leicester University. Anisha advises on all aspects of employment law, having a particular interest in discrimination and TUPE.  She regularly represents employers in employment tribunal proceedings and has provided bespoke training to companies in-house.

Gavin had already accrued more than 5 years' experience in employment law prior to his qualification as a solicitor in 2017. Since then he has continued to specialise solely in Employment Law. Prior to joining Make UK, Gavin managed a team of lawyers at an insurance funded firm which acted on behalf of both Claimants and Respondents in all types of contentious employment matters.
