The group’s 2018 advance orders are already 25% ahead of the corresponding point last year and EEF Venues is budgeting 4.5% growth for 2018, with the aspiration to break £7 million turnover across the group this year.

David Vaughton, managing director of EEF Venues, said: “Despite all of the uncertainty created by Brexit, the demand is there, and companies are simply getting on with business.

“Enquiries and bookings are up right across our three venues, showing the confidence organisations have and their willingness to invest in their people. The growing emphasis on staff wellbeing and on the human element of business is translating into more investment in face-to-face meetings and opportunities for people to come together for training events and conferencing.”

Over the last twelve months, EEF Venues has strengthened its portfolio of high profile corporate clients. Turnover for 2017 shows 7% growth, manifesting in 39% growth over the past four years, adding £1.9 million incremental revenue over that period.

David Vaughton attributes some of that success to EEF Venues’ style of engagement. He said: “We take an open and enthusiast approach to entering relationships with prospective clients and then proactively cultivate those relationships. It’s about making it easy and pleasant to do business with us.

“The close collaboration of our teams, from sales right through to operations, ensures we support clients at every step of their journey, from engagement and welcoming all the way through to delivery of their event.”

“Consistent quality standards have and always will be key to our sustained growth,” said David Vaughton.

“While each of our three venues has a unique identity, all share a common ethos of customer care excellence and that is what continues to drive this business.”
