This is a one-day practical course on Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) Verification and covers the 12 parts of ISO 10360 Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS) and the acceptance and reverification tests for CMMs. The course will look at: the 13 published parts and one draft part of ISO 10360 and how they relate to both traditional CMMs and alternative co-ordinate measurement systems; how a CMM is specified; testing and analysing the data; calculating the test uncertainty.

  •  Understand the role of the technical committee responsible for the standard;
  • Learn the terminology and symbols used;
  • Understand the limitations of an ISO 10360 test;
  • Be aware of the practical considerations when carrying out the test.
