The awards are based on 14,900 individual pieces of feedback received from 376 participating meeting venues and hotels in the UK and Ireland.
Engineers’ House, along with our venues, Broadway House in Westminster and Woodland Grange in Leamington Spa, also received Gold ranking in BDRC’s VenueVerdict Accreditation Scheme for 2017 for the fifth consecutive year.
Gold is only given to those properties recording a twelve-month Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more respondees over a twelve-month period. EEF Venues achieved a Net Promoter Score of +88.3 across its three venues, as well as taking Best Small & Medium Sized Group and Best Value for Money Group for the fifth consecutive year.
Martyn Bowen, venue manager at Engineers’ House, said: “Retaining the ‘Overall Venue’ and ‘No 1 Conference Venue’ titles for the 5th year running was pure delight. Our success comes from the heart, with the whole team sharing the joy and responsibility of looking after our clients, building good genuine relationships and creating a real feeling of community. It’s about enjoying our work whilst staying focused and professional. Delivering and exceeding our client expectations is always our aim. Not surprisingly, with this culture our repeat business runs at 85% as our clients feel relaxed and ready for a great day ahead as soon as they arrive at our venue.”
