NEBOSH Award in Health & Safety at Work - In-Company Training
The NEBOSH Award in Health & Safety at Work is an accredited health and safety qualification that introduces the principles and application of health and safety management with a view to preventing accidents and associated costs.
The three-day course is the perfect introduction to health and safety. It covers risk assessments and ways to control common workplace hazards such as fire, lifting and carrying, work equipment, electrical safety, hazardous substances and transport.

This course is relevant to team leaders, supervisors, HR professionals, facilities managers, or others who need to understand the principles and application of health and safety as part of their job.

Course content
The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award looks at everyday solutions for general workplace health and safety issues. Studying this course will enable learners to:
- understand why health and safety needs to be managed, ensuring effective processes are in place
- inspect the workplace, recognising common hazards, evaluating risk, recommending controls measures and assigning actions
- understand why incidents happen and how to investigate them.
Duration
The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award course has a minimum of eighteen taught hours, two hours of self-study and three hours for the assessment.

A certificate will be provided upon successful completion of the course.
