This three-day practical, hands-on welding course is designed to give delegates the skills and knowledge they need to produce welded joints using MIG welding equipment. Through short classroom sessions and practical training in welding techniques, delegates will be able to safely set up MIG welding equipment and to produce welds. This course is suitable for maintenance engineers, engineers, and those who wish to use MIG welding equipment.

The two-day portable appliance testing course is aimed at those responsible for the maintenance of electrical equipment and anybody who undertakes practical inspection and testing of electrical equipment, in particular portable appliances. This nationally recognised qualification is designed to provide expertise and focus on the IEE Code of Practice for in-service inspection and testing of electrical equipment. It also provides guidance on the practical aspects of carrying out portable appliance testing.

This one-day course is aimed at electricians and engineers who are required to work in or near explosive atmospheres. It will inform them about compliance with the mandatory European directives that set the standards for equipment used in explosive atmospheres (ATEX).

This ‘bite size’ e-learning course will provide delegates with a basic understanding of risk assessment in the workplace. It is aimed anybody who would like a basic introduction to Risk Assessment.

The aim of this CQI and IRCA Certified Training course is to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills required to perform an internal audit of part of an occupational health and safety management system based on ISO 45001 (or equivalent), and report on the effective implementation and maintenance of the management system in accordance with ISO 19011.

This course is designed for those new to the environmental management profession, it’s the first step on the professional development track for environmental managers and demonstrates a solid foundation of knowledge in environmental management. The course covers all the areas of knowledge you need to become an Associate Member of IEMA (AIEMA) under the new membership structure.
