The new wing has been created through the repurposing of existing office and administration space within the venue, to create a new facility consisting of seven new meeting and training rooms, conference space, and breakout space. Colour will be an overriding theme of the new space with a bright and contemporary palette used throughout the new design, and rooms named after colours e.g. Orange, Purple, Pink etc.

“This is great news for our business but it’s also a real gift to our customers,” commented Martyn Bowen, General Manager, Engineers’ House. “Many of the companies that use us don’t go anywhere else and see Engineers’ House very much as an extension of their own office. For them, this means more options for space when they book, greater flexibility and additional breakout, workshop and soft lounge areas. This investment truly has been about listening to our clients and acting on their requests.”

The launch of the Fusion Wing is the first in a series of new openings and refurbishments taking place across the EEF Venues group. The company recently launched The Engine Room as part of its customer promise to ensure that the group continues to invest in its product and can handle all meeting and events space enquiries from its loyal customer base.

“We want to keep our customer base loyal, and that means making sure we keep our occupancy levels manageable and to never turn away business because we are full,” commented David Vaughton FIH, Managing Director, EEF Venues. “The Fusion Wing means we have more space to offer our customers and more flexibility on the space they need.”
