Proactive Duty to Prevent Sexual Harassment for Line Managers

In this half day course aimed at Line Managers, we cover the new positive duty within the Worker Protection Act 2023 on employers to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment at work. We cover the responsibilities and practical implications for Line Managers in their day-to-day role.

• What is sexual harassment?
• The legal position
• Risks to the business
• Proactive duty and your statutory defence
• Incl. Risk assessments
• Different types of sexual harassment
• Outcome/effects of sexual harassment
• Challenging inappropriate behaviour and leading by example

Duration

This course is completed in half a day.
