Lianne Richards – Membership Director, Wales

Born and raised in Wales, Lianne brings more than 19 years’ experience working in and alongside the manufacturing sector. With a career spanning automotive manufacturing, timber packaging manufacturing, and strategic business development, providing first-hand insight into the opportunities and challenges facing manufacturers across Wales.

Passionate about Welsh manufacturing and its future, Lianne is focused on strengthening relationships between industry, government, and education, ensuring the voice of manufacturers is heard and helping create an environment where businesses can innovate, invest and grow.

Over the coming months, Lianne will be meeting manufacturers across Wales to better understand the issues affecting businesses, celebrate success and ensure Make UK continues to represent the sector with credibility, insight, and purpose.

Luke Brooks – Membership Manager, Wales

Luke joins Make UK with a strong background in business development, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement, supported by an extensive network of contacts across Wales. His career includes experience within the defence sector, where he worked closely with industry while also supporting veterans into employment, giving him a genuine appreciation of the skills, people and opportunities that underpin UK manufacturing.

As Membership Manager for Wales, Luke is focused on building trusted relationships with members, understanding the opportunities and challenges facing their businesses, and ensuring they maximise the full range of support, expertise, and connections available through Make UK.

Working alongside manufacturers across Wales, Luke is passionate about creating meaningful connections, encouraging collaboration, and helping businesses access the knowledge, networks and opportunities that support long-term success.
