In just under two weeks, on October 12th 2019, Make UK is hosting The Makers Meet, a free full-day event for the next generation of apprentices, showcasing the latest technology redefining the manufacturing industry.

The Makers Meet, hosted at the Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham, promises to be an immersive experience for those looking to get their hands on the latest technology revolutionising the industry. Aimed at 16-24 year olds, the event boasts four different zones, displaying and discussing the real world applications of VR, AR, AI and much more.

'We're going to be bringing some really cool entrepreneurs from people who do drone racing  to robotics to wall-painting robotics into a warehouse for these people to come and  experience, get hands-on, get really stuck into what tech and engineering is all about'        - Andrea Bull, Head of Next Generation Marketing

Watch our Head of Next Generation Marketing discuss The Makers Meet on Birmingham TV.

The Tech Zone allows you to get hands on with the latest innovations in the market. Whether you're interested in AR or smart cities, here you have a chance to see what you could be working with if you join the manufacturing industry.
