The new right of Union access and beyond for unionised employers
This half-day course is designed for managers and Human Resources specialists working in organisations with a recognised trade union who need a clearer understanding of the legal framework, the practical effect of the Employment Rights Act 2025, and how to manage employee relations issues confidently and consistently.
The legal and industrial relations landscape is changing quickly. Recent reforms have made statutory recognition easier, strengthened trade union rights, and increased the likelihood of more active union engagement in the workplace. From October 2026, employers will also need to be ready for new trade union workplace access rights, including physical and digital access requests.
