About The Event

About us

Kewell Converters is a family-owned British manufacturer with more than 50 years’ experience in specialist foam conversion. From our facility in Edenbridge, we design and manufacture bespoke foam components for sectors including defence, aerospace, medical, electronics and industrial engineering.

How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:

To celebrate National Manufacturing Day 2026, we are opening our factory doors for a behind-the-scenes look at modern British manufacturing. Visitors will be able to tour our design, engineering and production areas, follow the journey from raw foam to a finished component and meet members of our team.

The morning session will introduce students to careers in manufacturing and engineering through demonstrations, discussions and practical activities. The afternoon session will give businesses, customers and community representatives an opportunity to explore our capabilities, ask technical questions and network with the team.

Registration Details

Places are limited because visitor numbers within the factory must be carefully managed. Advance registration is therefore essential.

To register, email [email protected] by Friday 11 September 2026. Please include your name, organisation or educational institution, preferred session and the number of people who would like to attend.

Attendance will be confirmed by Kewell Converters once registration details have been reviewed.
