About us
Established in the 1970s, Specialised Canvas Services began as a single product company servicing the coal industry of Derbyshire. Throughout our history, we’ve advanced and grown our business to support the unique needs and requirements of almost any commercial and domestic canvas project.
Now working from our dedicated production facility in Chesterfield, our 24,000 sq ft premises allows us to design, manufacture, and repair a wide variety of products including transport covers, made-to-measure gazebo panels, and protective plastic that has been used in both the Ebola epidemic and the Coronavirus Pandemic.
Specialised Canvas is part of the Specialised Canvas Group which also includes Banner Box Print Solutions, offering Large Format Printing, and Flagmakers, bespoke flag and flagpole products.
How we will be involved with National Manufacturing Day:
We'll be hosting the Year 12 Design Technology Students from Netherthorpe School for a day of discovery. This year, the experience will focus on Large Format Printing. We will do productivity tasks and then the Makers' Challenge. We are all looking forward to it!
