The courses in this section relate to substances and agents that are hazardous to health. For example, health impacts associated with the Control of Chemicals Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH), which can often be long-term and hidden. Or, fire and explosion hazards associated with the Dangerous Substances & Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR), which have led to some of the most well-known disasters in UK history, such as Flixborough and Buncefield.
