This seminar will help attendees to understand more about Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) “trusted trader” status – what it is, how to go about achieving it and the financial and supply chain benefits it can bring.
It will cover the important place AEO has in the Union Customs Code (UCC) and the increased relevance that gaining AEO accreditation may have following Brexit.

The HMRC AEO application and audit processes
AEOC (Customs Compliance) – what you need to do
AEOS (Security & Safety) – what you need to do
A look at the C117 and C118 application forms
Maintaining your AEO status

The trainer, Keith Robe, who has over 30 years’ experience in his former role with HMRC, will talk about all aspects of AEO and its benefits to your business and will take your questions.

Keith has over 10 years’ experience in AEO matters including training of HMRC staff, responsibility for applications and audits, and is Security & Safety qualified.

Assessment

There is no assessment on this course. A training certificate will be issued by Cusdec Customs Solutions which can be submitted as evidence of relevant training when applying for AEO Status.
