Lean six sigma green belt training

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is neither pure Lean nor Six Sigma, but a combination. Using both together gives a best of both worlds scenario, allowing you to both recognise and reduce waste, whilst measuring the improvements to evidence success. This course is designed for everybody involved in or planning to become involved in Continuous Improvement and will enable delegates to select and implement improvement plans which deliver real results.

    • FMEA methods
    • DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyse, Improve, Control)
    • Value Add Analysis: process and workflow mapping and other analytical methods
    • 7 quality tools
    • Problem Solving Methods
    • Defects
    • Customer Value and Critical to Quality analysis
    • Statistical Process Control charts (previously Inferential Statistics. This has been updated to make the data more useable and the data activities more valuable)
    • Lean Six Sigma project selection (focus, teams, communication, risk management)
    • Your Project Selection and planning
  • Pre-requisites
  • It would be beneficial if you have some familiarity with Lean and / or Six Sigma. However, this isn’t mandatory as the programme will, as outlined above, provide a significant range of process improvement tools.

  • Delegates will be required to complete a work based assessment, before being awarded the certificate.
