Mark has nearly 30 years of manufacturing and leadership experience in the High-Tech Electronics industry, initially with corporate giants GPT and Siemens but since 2002 as co-founder/owner of SMS Electronics – a successful, Nottinghamshire-based manufacturing company and Queen’s Award winner for International Trade in 2012. He is a board member of Nottinghamshire’s Place Marketing Organisation, Chair of the Nottinghamshire Manufacturing Network which champions the strength and diversity of manufacturers from the City and County as well as Deputy Lieutenant for Nottinghamshire.
Dr Nik Kotecha OBE: Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd
Dr Nik is CEO of Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd, a Leicestershire based healthcare company founded in 1991. Currently exporting to over 80 countries, Morningside was awarded the Queen’s Award for International Trade in 2012. He is involved in many working groups in the East Midlands, amongst them the Life Sciences committee within the D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the University of Leicester Philanthropy Advisory Board. He is also chair of the International Steering Group for the East.
