Mark Bottomley, UK Sales Director, Rockwell Automation
Mark studied at the University of Manchester, where he gained his BEng in Chemical Engineering, in 1997. He started his career with Eurotherm as Pre-Sales Engineer and held various roles in the company, including a stint as Life Sciences Sales Manager, UK & Ireland.
Mark joined Rockwell Automation in 2007 as Ireland Sales Manager with added responsibility for EMEA Life Sciences business. He became the UK Sales Director in 2016. In his current role, Mark leads a dedicated, experienced and successful team in providing integrated automation and information solutions to the machine builders, process industry plants and manufacturing firms in UK. As UK Sales Director, Mark also leads Rockwell Automation input into the Government-led Industrial Strategy and Made Smarter campaign.
Mark is highly regarded as a thought leader and is regularly featured in a variety of business and trade media. He is highly adept at communicating his knowledge to a variety of audiences, especially on topics close to his own heart, such as UK Productivity, skills, STEM and the Industrial Internet of Things.
Mark is married and has three children. They live in Oxford, England.
