EEF has responded to the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee inquiry into Brexit and the Labour Market: Brexit or Opportunity?
Our submission responded to questions around:
- the level of net migration needed in the UK
- the impact on wages in the UK if access to EU nationals was restricted
- whether there is a case for a regional immigration system
- how successful controls on non-EU migration have been and the impact of these policies.
