The UK Government has committed to carrying over on day one of EU Exit, all existing AD/AS measures, as well as creating a UK Steel Safeguard. However, all these measures will be reviewed and many UK businesses and employees will be participating directly in these reviews, sometimes as the sole complainant. Given the importance of retaining the same level of trade protection as our EU counterparts, it is critical that as a sector we are best prepared to participate and provide the evidence/argument required. This guidance will assist in preparing companies for the actions you will need to take in the coming months.
