UK Steel, together with our steel Trade Unions, has today published updated safe working guidance following the Prime Minister’s return to work message to manufacturers.
Our extensive Code of Practise draws upon the sector’s experience of operating over the past two months, going beyond the Government guidelines, to specifically detail the steps that can be taken on steel sites in order to minimise the risk of transmission.
We will update this guidance as and when new Government guidance is published and, working with Unions, we will ensure our sites continue leading the way on site health and safety as we gradually move out of the lockdown.
