We are supporting manufacturers towards a digital future through smart use of technology and data, we are hosting this workshop to improve the funding landscape for technology transfer and support for manufacturers by using this evidence to influence government and policymakers.

This workshop run will bring together stakeholders in this space to:
• explore the current funding landscape and business support for manufacturers;
• identify the challenges and gaps that currently exist;
• consider what asks we need to make of government to improve the landscape; and
• calls to action for manufacturers - Why attend?

• Many universities, catapults, research institutions, local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) and others are working with manufacturers to deliver support to help them transition to digital manufacturing.
• But the funding landscape is confusing and fragmented, which is leading to a 'lack of finance' to investment being one of the biggest barriers standing in the way of manufacturers adopting 4IR and a digital future.
• Getting this right is integral to boosting productivity and maintaining global competitiveness.
