As the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve, you should look out for updates on Government financial measures to ensure you access any relevant support which is available to you – whether or not in relation to lay-off and short-time working – e.g. the Job Support Scheme, which runs for six months from 1 November 2020 and provides Government funding to support employers to retain employees in ‘viable’ jobs on reduced hours.
