Make UK continues its successful and longstanding relationship with Howden under the A-Plan name.
Howden Group Holdings Limited, Make UK’s insurance partner, recently completed the acquisition of A-Plan Group. The long-standing and successful relationship with Make UK continues but now under the A-Plan brand. A-Plan, as one of the largest specialist insurance distribution groups in the UK, will create with Howden a new force in the UK retail insurance market. The combined businesses will become one of the largest UK brokers, and the largest independent broker trading from over 100 locations and employing over 4,000 people.The newly increased scale and market position mean they will be able to offer easier access to even more solutions for the UK and international businesses. The name may have changed but the team remains the same and Make UK members will continue to have access to a quality insurance broker with a strong experience and understanding of the manufacturing sector.
