As the Omicron variant takes hold, the last few days have seen England move to Plan B of the Covid-19 Response: Autumn and Winter Plan 2021 and the introduction of new rules and guidance impacting on employers. These include:
- The recommendation to work from home where possible.
- Daily testing for fully vaccinated contacts of positive cases.
- The requirement to wear face coverings in more public indoor settings.
- The requirement to take a pre-travel test before coming to England (including for the fully vaccinated).
