The Make UK Technology Hub in Aston, Birmingham, was shortlisted as a finalist for Engineering & Manufacturing Apprenticeship Provider of the Year at a national apprenticeship event. 

The FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards 2021 recognise outstanding performance and achievement in further education and apprenticeships across a broad range of industries.

Make UK’s Technology Hub in Aston was shortlisted following a rigorous shortlisting process. The judging panel consisted of experts from the further education world along with industry specialists. 

Stephen Mitchell, Director of Apprentices and Technical Training at Make UK Aston said: “Make UK has played a leading role in manufacturing and engineering for over 125 years, and we are extremely proud of our Technology Hub in Birmingham. Being recognised nationally is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team in Aston.

“We work hard with our employers such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ishida and AE Aerospace to ensure we create the best environment for their apprentices and are committed to providing comprehensive apprenticeships, training and up-skilling.”
