The 2017 awards are based on 14,900 individual pieces of feedback received from 376 participating meeting venues and hotels in the UK and Ireland.
In addition, EEF Venues’ Bristol venue, Engineers’ House, has taken the No 1 Conference title and No 1 Overall Venue for the fifth year.
All three venues – Broadway House, Westminster; Woodland Grange, Leamington Spa, and Engineers’ House have also been awarded Gold ranking in BDRC’s VenueVerdict Accreditation Scheme for 2017, making it five years in a row.
Gold is only given to those properties recording a twelve-month Net Promoter Score of +70 or higher from 40 or more responders over a twelve-month period. EEF Venues achieved a Net Promoter Score of +88.3 across its three venues.
David Vaughton, managing director of EEF Venues, said: “This is a phenomenal achievement for our teams, and it shows how our customer engagement skills, facilities and ethos are winning the hearts and minds of our delegates.
“Feedback means everything to us as it drives our standards and keeps our venues teams motivated and passionate about their work. I couldn’t be prouder of them.
“To receive such respected external confirmation as this means the world to us as we are a small team with a huge commitment to keeping our clients and delegates happy.”
Natalie Wiseman, client services manager in the Hotels and Hospitality team at BDRC, said: “EEF Venues’ success to date in our awards and accreditation programme shows consistency and an impeccable commitment to their customers. Standards throughout our participating venues are getting higher each year so to have achieved our top ranking and these titles year-after-year is a considerable achievement.”
