The hard work doesn’t stop here. Our course designers carry on developing our courses and the way they are delivered so that we can provide exactly what our clients need.

In moving at this high speed, we’ve realised that it might be time to remind everyone what the difference between these delivery methods are and, more importantly, who they may suit. We hope this quite guide will ensure that you pick the right method for you.

Classroom

The course is delivered at our award-winning training centre at Woodland Grange, Leamington Spa. This method is always the fastest way to complete the course as all the learning is done in one block and is directly supported by a Make UK tutor. This method does require the learner to attend the course in person of course which means time away from work but does deliver the fastest results.

This route is best suited to those who need to complete the qualification quickly, want to get away from the distractions of the workplace and learn from their peers, but are willing to take a block of time away from work.

Virtual Classroom

This method is very similar to classroom but is delivered by the Make UK tutor via MS Teams. The time taken is exactly the same as face-to-face classroom, so the learner commitment is very similar. However, learning via this route means there is no travel, and the course can be completed either from work or home.

This route is best suited to those who need to complete the qualification quickly and are willing to take a block of time away from work but would rather not travel or be away from home for blocks of time.

Online

This e-learning method features no direct tutor interaction but provides the flexibility for learners to study at their own pace and in their own style. The learner is given access to all the course resources in an easily digestible format and is asked to manage their own study. This means that the completion speed is completely flexible. Support is available if required and our tutors are always happy to contact learners to discuss progress.

This route is best suited to those who are not under time pressure to complete the course and are not able to commit blocks of time to study. Learning is done when you want to do it at the speed that you want to go.

OnlinePlus +

This route is exactly the same as Online, with one key difference. As well as the self-managed directed learning, learners are invited to attend a series of live webinars along with their peers and our expert tutors. You book onto the live webinars whenever you want to and can attend as many times as you like. You can even re-watch the session recording if needed.

This route is best suited to those who want the flexibility of an online course but feel they would benefit from structured tutor support.

Finally, all our courses can be delivered in-company. This means that the training is delivered specifically for your company - either face-to-face, or via Virtual Classroom. We’ll tailor your course content to your business, bringing it to life.

We hope that this article helps you to pick the right method for you but if you’re not sure, please just get in touch (link to enquiries email) and we’d be happy to help. To find out more about our range of EHS courses and delivery methods available, visit www.makeu.org/ehstraining
