Apprenticeship Levy – Managing your Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account

EEF’s Policy and Apprenticeship team, come together with the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to take employers through the next important step of the Apprenticeship Levy – the new Digital Apprenticeship Service.

  • Webinar content:
  • As you will have heard by now the apprenticeship levy is coming into force next Spring, radically changing the way apprenticeships are funded in England.

EEF has already hosted two webinars on how the Levy will operate. The next important step for employers will be registering for, and setting up their Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account.

An employer’s DAS account will tell them how much Levy funds they have to spend and allow employers to plan how they will spend their Levy.

Planning will be crucial with employers having just 24 months to spend monthly vouchers before they expire.

This webinar will provide you with the steps you will need to take to register your company on the DAS, to view your funds, to find providers and apprentices and to make payments to providers to train apprentices.

We will be joined with a senior official from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) to ensure you have the latest information and insight and have time to ask those all-important questions relating to the DAS.

With timescales for the launch and roll of this new service short, employers cannot afford to miss this step-by-step webinar.

    This webinar is aimed at:

    • HR Managers

    • Talent development managers in charge or upskilling and reskilling

    • Finance teams – who may be looking after the new digital apprenticeship service in the organisation

    • Learning and development managers

    • MDs

  • By attending this webinar, delegates will:
    • Understand the steps employers need to take to set up their DAS accounts
    • Get an insight into how an employer’s DAS account will look, including searching for providers and making payments
    • Know the timescales for the introduction and roll-out of the DAS and other Levy milestones.
    • Understand EEF’s own Apprenticeship Levy service to employers
    • Hear the series of events and seminars EEF will be running following the webinar
