This course is designed to enable candidates to demonstrate welding skills typically found in industry and associated underpinning knowledge to a level that will enable them to complete welded joints in simple welding positions.

The diploma will benefit managers, advisers, consultants and others with a specialist environmental or sustainability role, who wish to build their strategic knowledge and skills. It addresses a wide range of environmental and sustainability issues, including technological options for control, effective strategies and change management.

This one-day course will give delegates the knowledge and skills they need to understand and work with programmable logic controller (PLC) operated equipment. It is delivered through a combination of classroom lessons and practical exercises using Mitsubishi programmable logic controllers. The training programme is aimed at practicing electrical installation and maintenance engineers. The content of this course can be used to support NVQ programmes at level 2 or level 3.
